Silvia Gràcia
I approach the landscape in a felt and attentive manner. Through words and photographic gestures, I seek to shift the contemplative stance traditionally shared by photography and landscape—to become a living canvas, where I transcribe myself in search of experiences that capture my time on the island of Lanzarote.
My exploration unfolds as an endless journey, marked by a continuous interplay between visibility and concealment, revelation and withholding.
The diary I present is composed of two contrasting languages: the territory and the hidden word. Each image holds encrypted messages, pointing to a tactile commitment—a gesture that invites an alternative way of approaching. Within vulnerability, new possibilities and reflections emerge: if conventional structures dissolve, what languages might arise?
